Use Skype Calls in Banckle Online Meeting Sessions

Banckle Meeting offers a powerful suite of features for online collaboration needs that yield quality results. We have been working on new features to facilitate our users with best services for their online meeting requirements. We are pleased to share that a new and important feature has been added to Banckle Meeting. Now you can use your Skype ID to make calls in an online meeting session. This adds a great benefit for all the users to communicate via Skype calls and enjoy the immaculate online collaboration experience.

How to Configure?

You can setup the Skype account in Banckle Meeting by following few simple steps.

  1. Sign in to Banckle Meeting.
    Note: If you do not have a Banckle account, click here to sign up for a Banckle account.
  2. Start an online meeting session.
  3. In Video Pod, click "Set Skype ID".
  4. Provide your Skype ID.

Note:

  • Audio will NOT be captured in the recordings with Skype option.
  • You may not have the updated Skype version, hence you may get a prompt to update your Skype. Please ensure having an updated Skype version.

Your Skype ID would appear in the panel to confirm that you have successfully configured your Skype account for current meeting session. By configuring your Skype account with Banckle Meeting, you can benefit from Skype without actually leaving Banckle meeting room. Once you provide your Skype ID at host's end, meeting attendee(s) will get an option of calling the host via Skype.

Tip: To make a Skype call to the host, the meeting attendees and the host need to be signed in to Skype.

While making a call to the meeting host, a popup would appear to confirm the Skype call showing meeting host's Skype ID.

We have Implimented New Banckle Admin Portal

There is good news for all customers out there! a new interactive and improved Banckle Admin Portal awaits you. The unified improved look of the Banckle Admin Portal is all about usability, user friendliness and a whole new user experience. Starting from the apps Sign In page to the apps Dashboard, we have changed the layout to bring in maximum ease to our customers. This change is a continuation to another recent improvement, where a new release of the Banckle Meeting application was made public.

Now you have all the important functions for your Banckle account properly displayed in a vertical tab structure, with easily identifiable icons along the left side. Banckle Meeting HTML5 version is the next-generation of Banckle Meeting

Banckle Apps offer better interactions and online communication experience through its well designed and feature-rich apps. We are pleased to announce the release of Banckle Meeting HTML5 version offering an improved, intuitive and robust user interface which makes it more interactive and easy to use.

Banckle Meeting HTML5 version is the next-generation of Banckle Meeting service, it is twice as fast and produces better results than its predecessors due to the improved user experience and productive features. This function-rich version has an interactive user interface and the tabs are arranged in a much organized way, thus supports enhanced usability. The HTML5 version has been designed to offer its users a customizable, robust and easy to use online collaboration experience.

How will it work now?
All instant meetings via Meet Now or new Scheduled Meetings will by default open in the classical (flash based) meeting room. However, to enjoy HTML5 meeting room, you may uncheck the "Use Classical Meeting Room" option.

HTML5 meeting room, gives you various functions right on your home screen such as start presentation, take notes, invite attendees, start screen sharing etc. The different functions to be performed in an online meeting session are presented in three different tabs. "Meeting" tab allows to send messages to all or specific participants in the meeting. You can add, download or remove the files via "File Depot". "Settings" tab allows you to edit the current settings of the meeting such as subject, meeting features, audio/video settings etc.

If it is taking some time to understand the new released version, then you may use the classical (flash based) meeting room version. For now, all meetings open by default in classical version. For your new meetings, if you like to use HTML5 meeting room, then uncheck the following highlighted option.

Switch Your New Meetings to Classical Version

We recommend using HTML5 version because it offers robust, effective and productive features which will boost your performance. We will be releasing more features and enhancements in next versions of the meeting room.

Visual Chat Notification Option Added in Banckle Chat

We are very excited to announce that the Banckle Chat Notifier for Visual Notifications is now available to the Banckle Chat customers. All subscribed Banckle Chat customers can download the desktop Chat Notifier for visual notifications. Now, even if your Banckle Chat web version is minimized or closed and system sounds are set to mute, still you will not miss any incoming chat request or incoming visitor's message alert. It will deliver all notifications right on your desktop.

This is a great addition in our Banckle Chat application features and we are hopeful that all Banckle Chat users will love this new notification option. Specially, live chat users who do not want to keep the browser open or they do not want to hear any sound notifications.

Follow the below mentioned steps to install your own Banckle Chat desktop notifier.

  1. Sign in to Banckle Chat.
    Note: If you do not have a Banckle account, click here to sign up for a Banckle account.
  2. From the Banckle Chat home screen, click Settings.
  3. Click Marketplace.
  4. To install this notification utility, click Chat Notifier.

  5. Once it is installed, sign in with your Banckle account credentials.

    1. Click Options to check different notification types.

    2. Click Open Console to launch Banckle Chat web console to perform live chat.

    Once you are logged into the Banckle Chat Notifier, it alerts you when you have visitors' incoming chat requests, their messages or a transfer request from a fellow operator. The chat notifier icon in your system tray shows all these notifications in the form of bubbles.

How to Use Bubble Option in Live Chat widgets

We are pleased to announce that you can now customize the Banckle Chat widget icon. We have introduced the bubble option in Widget settings that allows you to display your chat widget as bubble. This new and interesting feature by Banckle Chat adds more options to personalize your chat widget and make it look more interactive and user friendly. Following the few simple steps to enable the bubble option:

  1. Sign into your Banckle Chat account.
  2. Go to "Settings".
  3. Click "Widgets".
  4. Click the desired widget from the list.
  5. In Widget Settings, click "Set Images".
  6. Enable the checkbox "Show Bubble".

You can also change the bubble image and select from the images available in the library.
