  • Step 1- Download the Banckle Live Chat Module for Joomla
  • Step 2- Login to your Joomla administrator’s area, click on Extensions and then Install/Uninstall
  • Step 3- Upload mod_bancklelivechat.zip and press Upload File and Install
  • Step 4- On the Extensions menu, select Module Manager and click on Banckle Live Chat
  • Step 5- select Yes from the Enabled field in the Details area, and In the Parameters area, you need to copy the Banckle Live Chat Widget code in the Banckle Live Chat Widget Code field. And press the Save button
  • Step 6- Once you have everything configured and installed, you can see Banckle Live Chat widget on your website 

Getting Banckle Live Chat Widget Code?

  1. First of all, you need to Sign Up with Banckle. (Its free and would not take more than 15 seconds)
  2. Once you have a Banckle account you can sign-in to apps.banckle.com
  3. After logging in, click Admin in the website header toolbar.
  4. From the left panel, click Live Chat and then Department. From the Department toolbar, click Add Department. Name your Department and don't forget to choose a User.
  5. 5- Now again From the left panel, click Deployment Widget and From the Deployment Widget toolbar, click Add Deployment, Name your Deployment and choose the already created Department.
  6. From the HTML Code tab, click Copy to Clipboard and then press Save to save the Deployment settings.
  7. You can now copy this code in Step 5 of Banckle Live Chat Installation.

Web Conferencing and Online Meeting Plugin for OpenSUSE & Fedora

After supporting online meetings on Windows, MAC and Linux based operating systems, Banckle Online Meeting now allows you to participate and collaborate in web conferencing, eLearning and webinar activities on OpenSUSE and Fedora based systems as well – free Linux based operating systems for PC, Laptop and Server. This multi-platform supported plugin allows you to ensure that you can collaborate with users from anywhere, at anytime, using any browser.

Before actually conducting online meeting sessions, you should have installed Banckle Marketplace packages on your OpenSUSE and Fedora systems. Please follow some easy installation instructions for both Fedora and OpenSUSE as shared below.

A- Installing Banckle Marketplace packages for Fedora

The following simple command quickly installs the Banckle Marketplace Package' Yum-repository on Linux Fedora based systems. Please note that it is essential to be connected to the internet for this installation process to work.

Type the following command in the Terminal.

curl http://marketplace.banckle.com/yum-repository/add | sudo sh

After a short wait, the Banckle Marketplace Yum Repository shall be available and installed on your system!

B- How to install Banckle Online Meeting for Fedora?

  • Ensure that the Banckle Marketplace Yum-Repository for Fedora Linux has been installed.
  • Execute the following command in the terminal:

        yum install banckle-online-meeting-plugin

  • And that’s it! Really - that is truly how simple and easy the installation of Banckle Online Meeting is for Fedora users!

A- Installing Banckle Marketplace packages for OpenSUSE

  1. Launch Terminal
    From the Main Menu, click on More Applications, and click Gnome Terminal to launch the Terminal.
  2. Add Yum Repository
    Paste the following command on your Terminal and press Enter.

        sudo zypper addrepo http://marketplace.banckle.com/yum-repository banckle-marketplace

  3. Refresh Package information
    On the same Terminal window, use the following command to fetch the latest packages information.

        sudo zypper refresh

This process may take a few minutes, depending upon the speed of your internet connection. During this process, if you are prompted regarding a package signing key just type 'a' and press Enter to select the Trust Always option. This will help you verify that all packages received from this repository are actually trusted by you.

The prompt will look like this:

            Do you want to reject the key, trust temporarily, or trust always? [r/t/a/?] (r):

You can also use the refresh command later again in case you wish to change your selected choice.

B- How to install Banckle Online Meeting for OpenSUSE?

  • Ensure that the Banckle Marketplace Yum-Repository for OpenSUSE has already been installed on your machine as instructed above.
  • Click Install/Remove Software from Main Menu
  • Wait for the Software Manager to load
  • Find banckle-online-meeting-plugin in the list
  • Right-click banckle-online-meeting-plugin and click Install
  • Click Apply to apply changes

This widget allows users to schedule a Banckle Online Meeting session and share its details, status and registration directly on their websites.

These website visitors enter their email addresses, and are sent an invitation email that contains the direct link to the appropriate Banckle Online Meeting session. Webinars, Web Conferencing & Online Meeting Tool for Ubuntu 64-bit

Banckle Marketplace has now launched its Ubuntu APT-Repository and Ubuntu users can now install Banckle Online Meeting plugin for 64bit as well as 32 bit OS directly from apt-repository. It enables Ubuntu users to easily conduct webinars, web conferencing and online meeting sessions with anyone in a more social and friendly way using the advanced features of Banckle Online Meeting. But before setting up the updated plugin; please make sure that Banckle Marketplace packages are already installed using APT-Get command.

Installing the updated plugin:

- In your terminal window, run the following command

sudo apt-get install banckle-online-meeting-plugin

Note: Please ensure that you are connected to the internet when executing this command.

Prior to update (Prerequisite):

Ensure that you have added our repository prior to this update. For detailed instructions to do so please refer to the Installing Banckle Marketplace packages using apt-get blog post or follow the steps below.

1. Open the file /etc/apt/sources.list in a text editor of your choice and paste the appropriate (for your
Ubuntu version) line at the end of the file.

- Ubuntu 10.10

deb http://marketplace.banckle.com/apt-repository maverick official

- Ubuntu 11.04

deb http://marketplace.banckle.com/apt-repository natty official

2. After adding the appropriate line, save the file, and exit your text editor. Now download the key and save it on your computer. Use the following command to import the key. This key is used to verify the package.

sudo apt-key add /path/to/banckle-marketplace.key

Note: Where "/path/to/banckle-marketplace.key" is the path where you saved the downloaded key. You can delete the key after success.

The repository is added to your system.

Using Debian-Ubuntu APT-Get to install Banckle Marketplace Package

At Banckle, we are pleased to announce our package repository for Debian-Ubuntu users. Now it is very easy to add the Banckle repositories automatically to your Ubuntu systems (versions: Ubuntu 10.10 and 11.04) using the APT-Get command. The automatic method is designed to work in most cases, configurations and scenarios but you may also use the manual method as well. However, we recommend you to prefer automatic method in the first glance.

  • Automatic Method

Type the following command in the Terminal.

And that's it! You now have successfully installed and updated Banckle Marketplace packages on your Ubuntu machine.

  • Manual Method

Open the file /etc/apt/sources.list in a text editor of your choice and paste the appropriate (for your Ubuntu version) line at the end of the file.

Ubuntu 10.10

deb http://marketplace.banckle.com/apt-repository maverick official

Ubuntu 11.04

deb http://marketplace.banckle.com/apt-repository natty official

After adding the appropriate line, save the file, and exit your text editor. Now download the key and save it on your computer. Use the following command to import the key. This key is used to verify the package.

sudo apt-key add /path/to/banckle-marketplace.key

Note: Where "/path/to/banckle-marketplace.key" is the path where you saved the downloaded key. You can delete the key after success.

The repository is added to your system. Once this is done, use the following command to download the latest information about available packages.

sudo apt-get update
